THE ROTARY SUNRISE GARDEN AT ST. MARK'S

THE GARDEN IS WILL OPEN AGAIN IN SPRING OF 2018
A small wait list exists for personal plots but  volunteers to work the Food Bank beds are welcome

Our first harvest when we opened in 2012 - radishes!

We are collaborating with St. Mark's Church and the Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club to build this garden. This is a community garden with the following objectives

  • ·      To grow fresh vegetables for the Dundas Food Bank
  • ·      To encourage learning about gardening
  • ·      To build community

At least 50% of the garden is aside to grow vegetables for the Food Bank. Volunteers from the community work on this part of the garden.

The remaining part of the garden is open to members of the community. We give preference to close neighbours.

When is it available? From early May until October..

For more information download this leaflet or read the Launch Meeting presentation.

If you are interested in volunteering or renting a plot, then you can download an application form and email it to the garden organizers (the email address is on the form).
